Mary Ann Person, 48, was indicted in November in federal court in Utah for allegedly conspiring with Ontario Alshon Jeffery Authentic Jersey D. Lowery, 34, and Alyssa K. Turtenwald,22, both formerly of La Crosse, to transport women to engage in prostitution in La Crosse, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Nevada and Utah.
The indictment alleged that:
The conspiracy began in Freeport, Ill., in mid January 2011, where Lowery, 34, also known as Vincent www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Charles-Tillman-Jersey.html D. Toran, met a woman who began working as a prostitute.
From mid January until July 20, 2011, Lowery operated an online escort service. The ads generated calls to Lowery to arrange sex for hire. Lowery drove the two women, identified only as NMN and CKH, to several Midwest states, where they worked as prostitutes and Lowery www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Kyle-Fuller-Jersey.html kept the money.
Person did not travel with the group, but was described by one prostitute as second in command. Person made travel and hotel arrangements, posted sex for hire ads on Internet websites and researched state laws regarding prostitution. She also taught one of Lowery’s women how to place Internet ads for prostitution.
At some time during the conspiracy, Lowery and the two women traveled to La Crosse to engage in prostitution.
On Oct. 17, 2013, Turtenwald helped a Des Moines, Iowa, woman, who worked as prostitute for Lowery, place internet ads arranging sex acts for her. Three transactions involving the Des Moines woman occurred in Sacramento, Calif., with Lowery keeping the $450 the women earned.
Turtenwald, Lowery and the Des Moines woman later traveled from Sacramento to Salt Lake City. While the woman was walking another person’s dog, she texted her sister the hotel room number and asked her to call police.
Salt Lake police arrived and arrested Turtenwald and Lowery at a hotel.
The women working as prostitutes said they didn’t feel safe leaving Lowery as he previously choked one and Tim Jennings Kids Jersey assaulted the other in Denver.
Lowery slept with one women’s car keys, identification and money in a pillow case. marshals apprehended Person this week on an arrest warrant issued on Feb. 19 and brought her to Madison. Here, she waived her right to a preliminary hearing will be transported to Utah for trial.
